High Adventure
As part of the program to keep older Scouts interested and active,
Troop & Crew 53 maintain a High Adventure program. Each summer
our older members select, plan and carry out a program more intense than
our typical weekend outings.

In 2003 our high adventure group became certified as Open Water Scuba
Divers, and now as new Venture Crew 53 members, have performed a number
of additional dives.
In the summer of 2004, we took a white water rafting expedition to
West Virginia.

Our June 2003 outing was a combination event with advancement activities
for the younger Scouts, and the conclusion of the PADI Diving Certification
course for the older Scouts.
