Summer Camp 2009 -
Camp Long Lake

 WOW,
what an awesome group of scouts! Seventeen scouts attended summer
camp at Camp Long Lake this summer and had tons of fun swimming,
boating, hiking, shooting rifles, shooting at the archery range,
climbing the tower, eating great food, earning merit badges.....
On Wednesday, webelos
from packs 26 and 262 had their special day to experience boy
scout summer camp for themselves. They joined the troop for lunch
and the world famous Troop 26 Ham-in-a-Can dinner. What is
Ham-in-a-can you ask, well it is ham, an assortment of fresh
vegetables, Dr. Pepper and secret seasonings all simmered over an
open pit fire inside a garbage can.
