The joint May picnic
for Cub Scout Packs 26 and 262 was hosted by Troop 26 and
highlighted the Cross Over of Five Webelos Cub Scouts from Pack
262 to Troop 26. Troop 26 Boy Scouts lashed a cross over bridge
and welcomed the new boy scouts by presenting them with their new
Troop 26 neckerchief and their first scout rank patch having
already completed their requirements for it. Pack 26 did not have any second year Webelos
scouts this year however do have several potential scouts eligible
to cross over next year. A dinner picnic for the scouts and their
families included hamburgers and hot dogs. The scouts played steal
the bacon and pack 26 had an awards presentation and rank
advancements.
