Troop 16 Fundraising Guidelines Per the Scout Master

The monies a scout would earn at the Elk's Club  would go into the scout's Troop Account to be used for any scouting related purchase or Activity. This would include purchasing scout items, camping fees, Long Lake, High Adventure, etc.

The earnings from Pop Corn Sales are also used in the same manner and put in the scout's account for scouting related things. That would be the full 40% or what ever the profit is.

The Wreath earnings support  the operating costs for the troop.

For an incentive to attend the higher priced camps (Long Lake & High Adventure), to help pay the camp expenses for these high priced camps, to encourage the sale of wreaths for troop income. The scout gets a bonus at 10% for Long Lake and 10% for High Adventure of the wreath sales. If the scout chooses not to attend the camps, the money is left in the troop treasury to pay expenses.
