Registration : The first years registration, Boys life subscription and troop scarf is the responsibility of the scout and his family. After the first year, the troop pays for all registration and Boys Life. (providing the scout participates and meets the needed wreath sales.) our charter time is the end of January. It costs approximately $50.00 per year to support a scout in troop 159. There are no weekly or monthly dues. There is however, a annual fund raiser where we sell Christmas wreaths. Each scout is expected to sell a minimum of $250.00 worth of wreaths, that will put $50.00 into the troop account to support him for the following year. Whatever the scout sells, 10% will go into his personal scout account and an additional 10% will be given to him via check.
