Thank you for your interest in Cub Scouts! Pack 73 has a long tradition in the Dousman area. We aim to provide your sons with fun experiences that build character, grow self-confidence, give back to the community, and promote friendships.

Our Pack is very active. Some of the activities we participate in are the annual Derby Days parade in Dousman, Scouting for Food (a food drive to help those less fortunate), cub-mobile races, visiting a pumpkin and dairy farm, making Christmas cards for Three Pillars, a father/son cake bake, a nature activity each spring, a rain gutter regatta, and a summer Brewer game where the scouts get to walk on the field at Miller Park and take in a game.

In addition to these activities, we place a special emphasis on camps. Our motto is to put the “outing back in scouting.” There is a fall camp, a spring camp, various summer camps and even winter camping some years. Some the of typical stations at the camps include: fire building, compass training, a wood project, water rockets, a craft project, BB guns, archery, a climbing wall, fishing, and learning about wildlife. Camps typically start on Friday night and extend to Sunday mornings. On Saturday night there is a usually a large campfire where the scout share songs or skits and awards are handed out. The night concludes with the retirement of a United States flag. The camps are a great bonding experience with your son. The camps are also where you get to know other members from the Pack.

If these activities sound like fun, please consider starting a journey with your son and joining our Pack. Through scouting, the memories you will have will last a lifetime.
