Welcome !

At The Astronomy Guide, our mission is to aid the leaders of the Boy Scouts of America in developing astronomy programs. Through these programs, the scouts can learn about this ever-expanding science.

While learning about astronomy, the members of the pack can earn different achievements. For the Cub Scouts, these awards include the Astronomy Belt Loop and Astronomy Academics Pin. The Boy Scouts can earn the Astronomy Merit Badge.

Here, leaders can learn what needs to be done for the scouts to earn these awards. They can also learn about the tools used to earn these goals.

Leaders can also learn about local planetariums, observatories, and various astronomy clubs within the area. This information can help the leaders in planning future scouting events.

Let this be your guide to the stars!

"Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known."

"When you make the finding yourself - even if you're the last person on Earth to see the light - you'll never forget it."
